Karen’s Pie Crust

Never Fail
Ingredients
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 4 cups flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 ¾ cups butter
- 1 tbsp vinegar
- 1 egg
- ½ cup water(very cold)
- 2 tsp. sugar
Instructions
- put first 2 ingredients in a bowl and mix with fork
- add butter and mix till crumbly
- in a small bowl beat 1 egg with ½ cup water and vinegar
- combine all together in a bowl and mix
- divide dough in 5 portions
- shape each in flat round even patties
- wrap in waxed paper and chill ½ hr
- use after chilled as needed
- 5 patties will make 5 single crusts
- use as needed
- keeps for weeks in the frig
- may be frozen up to 3 months
