Layered Mint Chocolte Fudge

Great holliday candy
quick − ez
makes about 1 ½ lbs
Ingredients
- 1 − 12 oz package semi-sweet chocolate chips (1 bag)
- 1 − 14 oz can sweened condensed milk( not evaporated)
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 10 oz white chocolate chips (1 bag)
- 1 table spoon pepermint extract
- 2 drops red or green food coloring (optional)
Instructions
- In hevey saucepan, over low heat
- melt and blend chocolate chips,1 cup sweened milk, and vanilla
- spread ½ of mixture in a waxed paper 8 or 9 inch square pan
- chill 10 minutes or untill firm
- over low heat
- in another pan melt white baking pieces with remaining sweened milk (this mixture will be thick)
- add food coloring and pepermit
- spread on chilled chocolate
- chill 10 mins.
- spread reserved cholocate on mint layer
- chill for 2 hrs or untill firm
